Big girls need big diamonds.
So last night we ate at Olive Garden. I put every little detail into Myfitnesspal (including the lick off a fork to taste Josh’s dessert) and…wow. The entire thing was 1520 calories. I had fettuccini alfredo, one bread stick, about a half cup of salad and a drizzle of fat free italian, and the taste of dessert. My intentions were to only eat half of my alfredo but the fact that all I had to eat since 10am (we ate around 4) was my Shakeology and an egg salad sandwich made with one large egg, 1 tbsp light miracle whip, spread out on two slices of 35 calorie wheat bread. I also had a candy cane as a snack before bed. No workout…I felt like an asshole. Why must weight loss mess with your head so badly? Punishing yourself for a treat can’t be a good thing, right? Today I am doing better…shake for breakfast, egg salad sandwich for lunch, and making stuffed chicken breasts with mixed vegetables for dinner. I also plan to do some serious cardio.
Typing a blog entry on my phone is not the most fun I have ever had. I will update more later…hopefully I stick to my guns for the day!
So first of all, I like your new theme!
I love how you always stick with the more simple looking designed headers *nods*
It seems like everyone is into My Fitness Pal as of late. I really am curious about it myself, and I heard it works wonders by counting your calories. One of my best friends, Nik’kole, is also using My Fitness Pal. She’s having a good time with it, loves making herself smoothies in the morning. God, she makes me so hungry when I read her blogs and status updates on Facebook, hahaa
Also, your comment on my blog recently about you renewing your domain and not knowing why you even did that in the first place ~ you could always use your blog to not only just blog about random life happenings and such, but maybe use it to your advantage while you’re trying to keep up with your My Fitness Pal thing? Just a thought, I hope it all works out for you <3
Wow that seems like so much calories! I have tried My Fitness Pal and LiveStrongs MyPlate and can’t say I have had much luck with either. I would get so disappointed when my calories taken in always seemed to get used up with one meal and I would feel starved for the day even after exercise, walking to work and taking the stairs at work… It’s not a fun feeling. It really does mess with your head and make you feel bad.
I have gotten the hang of how to even it up during the day so that I don’t feel starved. I try to use most of my calories at lunch, since I always workout before I eat my dinner. I am an evening person! Must be doing something right…I have lost 30 pounds and quite a few inches since December 27!
